The Istituto Clinico Humanitas is a high specification polyclinic and now it is also a chemical research and teaching centre of the Università degli Studi di Milano. Humanitas became one of the first hospitals in Milan, chosen by over 3,500 patients a day. The Ministry of Health and the Regione Lombardia recognized it as a centre of excellence in a national gastroenterology context.

With the widening of the structure, Humanitas turned to Eurocontrolli in order to expand its security system already in place. Moreover, there was the necessity to an extra protection to some critical areas such as employee houses and radionuclide’s warehouse that needed to be monitored in order to avoid any intrusion and fire.
